Enigma Protector 1.52 Build 20080821 Beta has been released

We have released new BETA version of Enigma. This version has one common changes, and we offer you to test this feature. I'm not sure that this will work on any PC without problems, so this is only BETA version. Once bugs (if they there are) will be solved, stable release will be made.

The main advantage of this version is possibility to embed files into protected files without writing files to the disk. Note, when you embed files, all file write operations will be ignored (See in Enigma, Protection Features - Files Attachment panel).
Where it might help:
1. I tried to make simple application in Delphi that plays MP3 file. As you understand this application can work only if the file is placed on the disk. When I protect exe + embed MP3 file with option "Never write to disk", I was able to run and play this MP3 file without having this on the disk (means even without this MP3).
2. Next project that I tested is simple application that plays AVI file. I used the same Files Attachment function with option "Never write to disk". After protection, I plaied AVI file without having it on the disk.
3. If you use some dlls in your project and embed these dlls into protected module, you will not need to distrib these dlls with the protected projects. How it works: Enigma will hook LoadLibrary function and redirect it to oun handler, so, all the functions of embeded dlls will work the same but without having this files on the disk.
4. Moreover, "Never write to disk" function works with any type of files! It is the best choice to hide files of your project and increase protection!
