Exception Crash at File Open Dialogue

Hello,
from time to time (could not be specified or reproduced or provoked) I get a Crash !only! if I try to open a File with the Fileopen-Dialogue in my Application.

It is a VB.Net Project targeted to the .Net Framework 4.5.1

Unfortunately this causes some trouble amongst my Users.

Is there any solution known?
