Protected Application Freeze on File Dialog

I have an application written using the wxWidgets 3.0.5 library. It has no problems when not protected, but when it is protected, it very often freezes when I open a standard Windows dialog to choose a file. Whether it works is correlated in time: it will not work for tens of minutes, then will work fine for an hour - possibly related to the hard drive spinning up or similar.

I am not including any dll files in the virtual machine.

Any ideas of how I might fix or debug this? Thanks.

Hi Chris, have you tried it on different versions of Windows? Does the problem happen on only some of them, like Windows 10 22H2?

Please also try to disable antivirus, just to check if it affects this problem.

And if possible, send us simple non protected sample at support@enigmaprotector.com we will check it out on our development systems.
