Re: Windows 10 - Windows Defender Issue
Just wanted to report that the issue apparently was solved by Microsoft with an update this weekend - at least for Win10/Defender, I haven't tested Win7/MSE yet. For me freshly protected .exes now start again as fast as they are supposed to start without the need to be whitelisted by MS. Fingers cro...

Only one of the three affected files, the other two are too large to be uploaded to the MS submission site.

Re: Windows 10 - Windows Defender Issue
Just to add myself to the list: confirmed here too. This is a lot worse than the normal delay introduced by Enigma. Starting a protected app now takes about a minute with Windows Defender (Antimalware Service Executable) using an entire core during this time. Quite certainly introduced with the Wind...

Re: Registration Issues
Yes, I could of course use a custom dialog. On the other hand adding 10 lines of code that are rather standard when handling user input strings would solve this potential pitfall for all your customers (and their customers). Probably wouldn't cost you more time than discussing this here... There cer...

Re: Registration Issues
Just to clarify: What I meant are inadvertently added spaces BEFORE or AFTER the name, not within the name. Currently something like " John Doe" or "John Doe " does not work because of the space as first respectively last character. I'm pretty sure that absolutely noone uses or w...

Registration Issues
Every now and then we have a customer who can't register his license because inadvertently he enters/pastes trailing or leading whitespaces into the registration name field of the reg dialog, which surprisingly aren't trimmed away for the validation. Since this can avoid completely unneccessary cust...

Protected Application Start Crashes
I have reproducible issue with protected .exes (C++) in Windows 10. After the program is protected, it requires a few times to sucessfully launch the program. Usually 3-4 tries are required for a succesful launch. What's even more odd is that the program loads fine for any subsequent launch, almost ...

Re: ETA next Enigma version?
@Alec: You're right, I apologize. I never checked the the download section where 4.20 indeed is available. My panel news bar however doesn't show an entry for 4.20, which was what I checked regularly. This is a bit confusing since all other versions before 4.20 were announced in the news bar on rele...

Re: ETA next Enigma version?
I have to admit, I'm quite puzzled by not getting an official answer to this question, shouldn't be too hard to say at least something. But maybe no answer is also an answer in this case.
For now I'm expectiong the worst, and maybe everybody else should do so too.

ETA next Enigma version?
Considering the speed at which Enigma updates were released before, it's quite silent for the last months (last update dated May, 6th). Since I am about to release a new version of my product shortly, I'd kindly like to ask whether Enigma is still developed with the same dedication as before? Up-to-...
