ETA next Enigma version?

Postby codix » Thu Dec 11, 2014 2:51 pm

Considering the speed at which Enigma updates were released before, it's quite silent for the last months (last update dated May, 6th). Since I am about to release a new version of my product shortly, I'd kindly like to ask whether Enigma is still developed with the same dedication as before? Up-to-date protection is of course highly important.

I have to admit, I'm quite puzzled by not getting an official answer to this question, shouldn't be too hard to say at least something. But maybe no answer is also an answer in this case.

For now I'm expectiong the worst, and maybe everybody else should do so too.

@Alec: You're right, I apologize. I never checked the the download section where 4.20 indeed is available.

My panel news bar however doesn't show an entry for 4.20, which was what I checked regularly. This is a bit confusing since all other versions before 4.20 were announced in the news bar on release.

I very much look forward to the new taggant system. I understand things take time to make, but it's been like 2 years since enigma first announced the taggant system would be released soon. Not much else has been changed with enigma, but I will buy the upgrade when this feature is added, otherwise its not worth purchasing it again since I have a good working version and it prevents every script kiddie from touching my files.

The delay with the taggant was not our deal, unfortuantely.

As for now, I can tell that the taggant is already implemented in protection, we are just in the process to generate new licenses with the taggant to users and just small issues with the control panel to accept the tagganted license.

We are very closer.

That is wonderful news and progress Enigma, I am really happy to hear the system is almost here. Your team is great, please let me know when you guys have it released, and I will definitely purchase the upgrade that day!

Thanks,
Kenneth.
