@ anybody:
If I protect dll with RISC VM and use it with an unprotected .NET exe, do I have any VM protection at all? I have some code in C++ dll (which returns some important data) and I am thinking about placing (part of) serial checking routine inside that dll if it can be protected apart from the main exe (and make it return wrong data if serial number is not valid).

That's a VERY correct way to apply protection for .net programs!

Just make sure that the function from this library does not return some simple 0/1 value which can be changed, but returns some data!
