Postby Bigkang » Fri May 31, 2013 8:50 pm

How can I protect my program that can be accessed by many users, and each user will send different registration numbers to me, and I send them the code to to make my program operational.

Hi Bigkang,

In the most common way you should use the following functions:
- Registration Features - Common - Allow Execution only if registered
- Registration Features - Registration Dialog.

Users will run the program, see this dialog, send you back Hardware ID. Based on this, you will generate a key and send it back to user.

See this video for more info: http://www.softwareprotection.info/2011 ... protector/

This happens only if you've protected the file with one project file, but trying to generate a key with another project.

if the user sends his hardware id, how to generate a key for him? Do i have to generate the key using, Tools>Key Generator? or Tools>Export Key Generator? Do i have to edit again the unprotected exe or the protected one?

You have to open your .enigma project file in Enigma Protector and generate a key using Tools - Keys Generator. That's only a one way, you may also export keygen, use License Manager etc.

As I told, I think that you are using not same project file for protecting the file and for generating a key.

Make a new project, configure it, save it, protect the file, send file to client, ask to return you Hardware ID, open saved project file in Enigma Protector and generate a key. Using these recommendations you'll succeed.
