Inheritage - question
I can't test it yet, that's why I'm asking. I've got an executable. I virtualized some files into it. This exe has 'inherit files' option turned ON. What happens if the exe starts another process which modifies on of theese files? Will this affect the original exe? Are they totally independent, so both will have their own filesystem which won't affect each other? If so, is it possible to make a "link" between two process (parent & child)?
Re: Inheritage - question
Yes, these processes are independent of each other. If one modifies files, another does not see these changes.
We will add a fix for that somedays, but it is a huge deal.

I think it could be an optional feature like "link process' virtual system". It would be great to see implemented
Re: Inheritage - question
It is really a big deal, because these has to be somehow linked between any virtual processes that packed app may start.
We are developing a feature that will do that, and it also will save the settings of the modifications of the virtual content, but I can't promise when it will be released.
