EP_RegCheckAndSaveKey bug

Post by samsonite131 »

There seems to be a bug with EP_RegCheckAndSaveKey using the Enigma Protector x64 Demo.

I compiled, protected, and ran the Examples\Registration\VCx64\ SDK project.
I enter my user information and reg key. Reg key wasn't valid the first time, but anyway.
I click the Register button.

I open the Windows Registry, and see a corrupt key under HCU\Software\Enigma Protector:

Code: Select all

%.8x%.8x-%.8x%.8x7F9A0F3052D6133B-D200C387E5335720
These look like sprintf statements.

I sent screenshot to Enigma support email.

Hi samsonite131,

Thanks you for pointing us to this problem. It really does not affect workability of the protected module, but it is some kind of problem anyway.

It is solved finally.
