I've testing the new version 2.21, but i found that a strange issue with Hardware ID occurs.

1.SO Win7 64bits
2. Exe protected with only Hard Disk Serial Number selected.
3. Set or Activate ( if is disabled) the UAC in the second o more levels ( Restart the machine)
4. Take the Hardware ID showing by the app protected
5. Disable the UAC up to last level and restart.
6. After reboot, take the Hardware ID again

And the Hardware ID has changed.

Thanks for read.

I just checked out this issue on x64 Windows 7. Have switched UAC level to different positions and restarted PC and hardware id was always same. Tried it under Admin/Guest - no difference.

Can you please email me, and I will send you a test version, with that we will be able to understand what fails exactly?

By the way, did you check id in hardware id checker? HDD Serial becomes to zero, or it just changes?

This only happens when the UAC is enabled, and then disabled until last level, restart the machine and the hardware ID changes.

Anyway I will make more tests and email u .

Thanks

I've tested already on three different PCs with the same results.
THis only happens on W7 64
and when UAC is enabled and then disabled with restart of pc.

Dante, anyway, could you please check this out, the HDD Serial just changes, or it becomes to zero (zero means Enigma can't retrieve this) in Hardware ID Checker?

Yeah Sorin, last years Santa forgot me, and I've begun to think he does not exist...
This year I will be as Santa myself :)
