Re: Virus detection by Windows Defender in boxed exe

We also recommend to use code signing of packed executables to get rid of false detections.

But the method of submitting of exe to Windows Defender's developers (as Ilya advised) is also very helpful, please try it first. Don't forget to specify there that this is a false possitive detection.

Re: Internal error 0x7102 occured error

Hi, looks like this is some incompatiblity with HASP protection. Since you "No license key" message on start, I assume the file supports packing and it works well. Problem seems happens when program start communicating with dongle. Maybe you have some remote test computer, where we can test EVB? We ...

Re: Persistent changes to virtual registry

I think my objective is the same as gemisigo’s. Many applications allow a user to set preferences inside the application that are persistent from session to session. If the preferences are stored by the application in an ini/config file, it seems Enigma Virtual Box can handle that. But if the prefe...

Re: Persistent changes to virtual registry

What is the status of the enhancement requested in this topic? This change is in Version 7.10 Build 20131218: Added ability to import registry data from .reg files. But there is nothing about exporting/saving the virtual registry to a .reg or other file. Hi Stephen, Do you need to dump a virtual re...

Re: I forget my reg. Details & keys HELP

To generate a key for software you need to take an .enigma project file that was used to generate this key.

If you've lost .enigma file, there is no way to generate a key anymore.

Re: I forget my reg. Details & keys HELP

Hi, I doubt you are understand how Enigma Protector works. If you've generated a project with Enigma, then only you can generate license keys for it, nobody else. If hardware id of the program that you protected becomes invalid, then I recommend you to use Enigma Protector from our official website ...

Re: Pulling License Data results in crash of program

For VB.NET to load a registration name and key, use functions EP_RegistrationLoadKeyA or EP_RegistrationLoadKeyW (depending on Registration Features - Common - Unicode option) from Enigma_IDE.vb. It looks as following: Public Shared Function EP_RegistrationLoadKeyA(ByRef Name As String, ByRef Key As...

Re: Pulling License Data results in crash of program

Hi, sorry, is it Visual Basic 6?

Can you change the code to this:

Code: Select all

Dim Test as String
Dim Test2 as String
If EP_RegLoadKeyA(Test, Test2) Then
  Me.Text = "Licensed to: " + Test
EndIf

My executable is also not closing properly. What was the solution for your case? Please share it here.
You would need to contact developers at support@enigmaprotector.com and provide non protected files for testing.
